LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear underwent eye surgery Thursday night. The governor's office says it was taking care of a "follow-up issue" regarding his previous eye surgeries.
The operation was said to be successful and the governor expects to make a full recovery. He expects to return to work on Monday.
Back in November, Gov. Beshear underwent surgery to repair a detached retina. He had to limit his travel for a few days afterwards.
