LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a former cashier for Abercrombie & Fitch has been charged with theft after he allegedly stole money from the cash register.

According to an arrest warrant, 23-year-old Justin M. Kelley was employed at the retail store in St. Matthews from Nov. 17, 2012 to Feb. 11, 2013, when he started taking the money. He also allegedly took merchandise -- including three bracelets and a bottle of cologne -- without paying for it.

Kelley was eventually confronted about the missing cash and merchandise, and police say he admitted to taking cash on at least seven occasions.

The total amount of missing cash, according to the arrest report, was $670.

Louisville Metro Police served Kelley with a criminal summons on Feb. 17. He's scheduled to appear in court next month on a felony charge of theft, according to court documents.
