Louisville, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some brave people, plunged into frigid water this morning to support a good cause.
Saturday was the 15th annual Polar Plunge, to support Special Olympics. Among the participants were our very own David Scott, Kelly Davis, and producer Jessica Denson.
Many people dressed in costumes for a contest, participants say they enjoy raising money for the organization and braving the cold water.
More than 1,000 people took the plunge Saturday.
It also included a man who proposed to his girlfriend. She said yes.
