LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A hospital helicopter out of Cincinnati made an unscheduled landing in a field in Carroll Co., Ky. Tuesday due to the weather.

No patients were on board the Air Care helicopter that serves the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

The hospital says the helicopter was flying to a conference where the new chopper was going to go on display.  That's when the pilot saw a low cloud ceiling ahead and decided to land.

The hospital emphasizes this was not an emergency landing.  The helicopter has its own weather radar and XM satellite information which helps the pilots in making flight plans.
