LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- There are already plans to move five historic homes in the path of the Ohio River Bridges Project -- and now a preservation group wants more moved.
The homes in Jeffersonville's historic district were slated to be torn down until a deal was reached with the group. Now it wants three more homes added to the relocation project.
A settlement among the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the conservation group River Fields, and Indiana and Kentucky transportation officials dedicates $1.7 million to a historic preservation and enhancement fund.
