LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have now identified the man killed in a fatal accident on Cherokee Parkway Tuesday morning.
The victim was identified as 29-year-old Christopher Marti.
Police say his car slammed into a pole and tree near Cherokee Parkway and Longest Avenue around 3:00 a.m. They say Marti was the only person in the vehicle, and he was wearing a seat belt.
Marti died of multiple blunt force injuries from the accident.
Metro police are still trying to figure out what caused the accident.
