LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- It is still unclear what will happen to the push to legalize industrial hemp in Kentucky.
Members of a House committee sat through two hours of testimony on a bill to regulate it if the crop makes a comeback, but did not vote on it.
The committee chairman is pushing to rewrite the bill to have a university study of hemp.
The bill would allow hemp to be grown in the state if a federal ban is lifted.
It has already passed the Senate.
