LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB)---On Wednesday, 59-year-old Dianne Porter got an unexpected knock at the door close to 6:00 p.m.

She says a man and woman got violent when she opened the door to her Fern Creek home.

"I thought I was going to die. I really did," says Dianne Porter.

That's when she says they started spraying her with mace.

"Then he kicked me and knocked me down to the floor and he kept saying...'don't look at me, don't look at me, cause I'll spray you more," says Dianne Porter.

You can still see the remnants of mace on the front door of her home on Elm Lake Drive.

Porter can't forget it.

"It's horrible. It's a burning feeling. It feels like you're on fire," she says.

She suffered broken ribs as they kicked her, and laid on the ground while the man and woman robbed her home.

They got away with her computer, purse, and medicine.

She believes the pain medication and her credit card, were among the items they were looking for.

She says the suspects charged $108 to her card at Crown Liquors on Cooper Chapel Road. One employee inside says he remembers someone coming in, spending that amount on cigarettes.

Porter says they also made stops at local gas stations.

She's hoping the couple doesn't strike again.

She and other neighbors are now on alert while police continue to look for the suspects.

Police in the 7th Division are looking for a white male and female in their early 20's.

The man has short blonde hair, and was wearing a green sweatshirt and blue jeans during the crime.

The woman has blonde hair, which was in a ponytail at the time of the crime.

As for Dianne Porter, she says she won't be opening the door to strangers again after this frightening experience.

"I kept saying God no. I've got to get through this. Get me through this," says Porter.
