LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Residents of Pekin, Indiana plan to gather Saturday night to remember the lives lost during the March 2nd tornadoes that hit the area a year ago.

The community will come together to remember Joseph Babcock, Moriah Brough, and their three small children all under the age of 3.

The family died when a twister hit their home, and pulled them from their trailer and tossed them into a nearby field.

The remembrance event and candle light vigil will be held at Pekin Park at 3 p.m.
