Louisville, Ky. (WDRB) -- Our WDRB weather staff was honored to take part in the activities in Henryville. At the request of the event's organizers, Marc Weinberg and Jeremy Kappell were on hand to answer questions about the science of what happened on March 2nd.
Many people affected by the storm are still nervous whenever bad weather moves in.
"I think one of the things that we're really wanting to communicate is this is one-percent of all tornadoes. So there are tornado warnings, and there is March 2nd. That lives in a different realm. So, we're just trying to help a community heal a year later," said Marc Weinberg, WDRB Chief Meteorologist.
Marc, Jeremy and Rick Deluca also represented WDRB in the parade which included first responders, volunteers and others affected by the March 2nd disaster.
