LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Coach Strong and players from U of L hosted a camp for kids in the community to help lift their spirits, and take their mind off of the nurses and needles.
For the second year in a row, Kids from Kosair Children's Hospital and Down Syndrome of Louisville got to run, drill, chill and boogie with the Cardinals during a camp on Saturday.
Coach Strong and players from the team explained how the intent for them to inspire and up lift the kids may have happened, but it was the kids who took part in the camp that truly inspired Coach Strong and players.
