LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Frankfort Police say a domestic dispute led to an man being arrested for an arson.

It began with a vehicle fire in east Frankfort at 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday.  After firefighters put out the fire, police began an investigation.

Officers determined that a suspect left a home on Monday because of a domestic dispute.  They say he returned on Tuesday, began beating on the door, and that two teenaged girls would not let him in.  It was soon after that, that the girls noticed the car was on fire.

Officers have arrested 32-year-old James Russell.  He was taken to the Frankfort Regional Medical center to have burns on his face and hands treated.  Then he went to jail, charged with arson and wanton endangerment.
