Louisville Collegiate School student makes perfect score on ACT

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A Louisville Collegiate School student has made an achievement duplicated by only one-tenth of one percent of those taking the ACT.

Calley Thompson made a perfect score of 36.

She is a senior who also takes part in Science Olympiad, Quick Recall, and Mu Alpha Theta, as well as being a goalie on the Field Hockey team.

"Calley is committed to her academics and works hard to achieve her success," said Peter Behr, Head of Upper School at Collegiate. "I have also taught Calley in science. She is methodical in her work and is a remarkable critical thinker."

The ACT consists of English, math, reading, and science along with an optional writing test.
