Family of homicide victim pleads for answers

Louisville, Ky. (WDRB) -- The family of a young man who was shot 14 times and left in a dumpster is pleading for answers. They also say someone disrupted Christopher Malone's visitation.

The 22-year-old was found in a dumpster more than a week ago. His family described him as being "riddled" with bullets.

Saturday, they went back to the scene of the crime and paid their respects to Malone, by releasing balloons. His mother says on Thursday, someone drove by his visitation and fired shots out of their car window.

"That upset me so bad. What they already did to Chris was bad enough, but let his family and friends have our chance to say goodbye to him during the wake," said Teri Green, mom.

The family is asking that anyone with information on Christopher Malone's death to call the police tip line at 574-LMPD.
