Louisville, KY (WDRB)-- A part of Great Britain has arrived in Louisville.
It's called a pop-up consulate, and it is meant to highlight what makes Britain a good place to visit and do business.
The temporary office is in the National City Tower complex at Fourth and Main Streets. It will also host meetings for Kentucky's business, education, law enforcement, and non-profit leaders.
"There is a great history between the United Kingdom and Kentucky that already exists. You already saw that with Her Majesty attending the Kentucky Derby."
In 2011, Kentucky exported more than $1.5 billion in goods to the United Kingdom.
That makes Britain Kentucky's second largest international customer, behind Canada.
