Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Starting today, expect to see more officers at South Harrison schools.

The South Central campus will now have one uniformed officer stationed there from either Corydon Police or the Harrison County Sheriff's Department.  The district is also assigning one officer to split time between Heth-Washington and New Middletown elementary schools.

The superintendent says the pilot program will cost about $25,000 through the end of this school year.
