LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- With just four working days left, lawmakers are rushing to get bills passed in the Kentucky legislature. They have today and tomorrow, then there's an eight day break, with the two final days March 25th and 26th.
Other people are making their voices known, as well. The Capitol turned into a giant daycare as one group protested cuts to child care.
Still pending are bills that would ensure soldiers deployed overseas can vote in Kentucky elections and a bill that would raise the minimum age for dropping out of school to 18. The unfinished business also includes conflicting proposals from on how to shore up the state's pension plans for government retirees.
