Officials say they are considering scrapping plan to stagger tolls, aim for full tolling in fall 2016.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The move to legalize industrial hemp in Kentucky is over for now.
The bill already cleared the Senate, but House Speaker Greg Stumbo says it's stuck in a committee.
Because of that, he says it's too late for the House to vote on it because of General Assembly rules.
Some lawmakers who support the measure are angry and say Stumbo could suspend the rules and put the bill to a vote.
The proposal would let Kentucky quickly license hemp growers if the federal government lifts its ban on the plant.
