LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A job fair will be held later this week in an effort to recruit 1,400 seasonal warehouse distribution positions at the Amazon warehouse in Shepherdsville, Ky.
According to the news release, the job fair will begin on Wednesday and run through Saturday, and will be recruiting for positions such as pickers, packers, shippers and returns associates. On-the-spot interviews will be conducted during the application process, according to the release.
Applicants much be at least 18 years of age, have the ability to read and write in English, have proof of employment eligibility in the United States, be able to accomplish tasks involving light lifting, be able to stand for long periods and have basic computer skills.
The jobs offer benefits such as a free lunch -- including soft drinks -- multiple shifts to choose from, a pay rate between $9.00 and $9.75 an hour, medical benefits and professional training.
