Former interim Jeffersonville principal changes plea in shoplifting case
JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WDRB) -- Jeffersonville High School's former interim principal has changed his plea on a shoplifting charge.
David Milburn was in court Friday morning to change his plea from not guilty to guilty. Police say the theft occurred while Milburn was working at the Middletown Walmart.
Milburn was also the assistant principal at Jeffersonville High School at the time. He had been employed with the school system for 22 years, but resigned in November.
Milburn says restitution has been made in the shoplifting case.
After successfully completing a diversion program, the shoplifting charge could be dropped.
