PAOLI, Ind. (WDRB) -- Paoli Peaks is closed for the season.
The southern Indiana ski resort had hoped to remain open through the weekend but the warm weather changed the plans.
There was plenty of snow on the slopes Friday, but the forecast calls for rain, so officials decided it was better to close.
Thanks to cooperation from Mother Nature, it was able to remain open for 75 days this season.
Paoli Parks officials say the 2012-2013 season has been was one of the best years ever -- but the previous year was the worst ever.
