Police searching for two men wanted for two bank robberies

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Metro police are looking for two suspects involved in two separate banks robberies.

The first robbery happened last Friday at the U.S. Bank on west Market street near south 4th street around 1 p.m. Police say a black male, 5'10", about 275 pounds enter the bank and demanded money. After taking money, the suspect fled the bank on foot heading eastbound.

The second robbery happened at the Fifth Third Bank on Bardstown Road near Princeton Drive. Police say around 11 a.m. a white male, 5'10", weighing approximately 200 pounds entered the bank in a threatening manner, and demanded money several times.

The bank teller gave the suspect a red dye pack, which exploded as he left the bank on foot.  

Anyone with information about either bank robbery is asked to call 574-LMPD (574-5673) anonymously.
