LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A busy interstate ramp was shut down after a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.
The accident happened on the I-264 ramp westbound to I-65 and Preston Highway.
The ramp was shut down for several hours.
Police say a commercial vehicle lost part of its load, starting the chain reaction crash that involved four other cars and the semi. A diesel tank ruptured on the semi, spilling 50 gallons onto the road.
Crews had to offload about 50 more gallons of diesel fuel.
Two people were rescued from an SUV and another person was taken to the hospital. They're expected to be okay.
