LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A better-educated workforce is the number one way to expanding jobs in the region -- that's the shared opinion of two new economic development leaders in the Metro area.
Craig Richard took over the top job at Greater Louisville Inc. in January. Wendy Chesser has been in charge at One Southern Indiana since November.
Richard says he supports Mayor Fischer's idea of a local option sales tax, saying, "If you look at the recent polls, 72 percent of the people believe that communities should have the right to decide for themselves if they want to fund transformational projects."
Both leaders took questions from the public today at the forum, which was sponsored by Business First.
