LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The man charged with murdering another man in a love triangle is set to go to trial in May.
Jeffrey Mundt was in court Monday morning, as his attorneys prepared for his trial. They discussed the need to get an impartial jury in Jefferson County.
Mundt and Joseph Banis are accused of killing their threesome partner and drug dealer, then burying his body in the basement of their Old Louisville home for six months.
Both took plea deals where they testify against each other. Banis has already gone to trial and was convicted of murder.
The jury recommended Banis receive a life sentence, but he'll be formally sentenced in June.
