All-clear given after bomb threat at Iroquois High School

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police are investigating after a bomb threat at Iroquois High School.

We're told a teacher reported the threat after it was called in to the school around 6:30 a.m. At the time, only a few students were there. Those students were taken to other nearby schools while police and school officials searched the building with a K-9 unit.

JCPS spokesman Ben Jackey says the all-clear was given a short time later and students were being brought back to the school.

Students and faculty were never in any danger because they were turned away at the door.
