LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Frankfort Police are looking for an alleged thief who struck a victim with a car as he was trying to get away.
According to a news release, the incident happened at 9 a.m. on Monday at the Capital Plaza Hotel on Wilkinson Boulevard, near E. Main St.
Police say the victim, who is a hotel employee, saw a white male in the parking lot attempting to steal his car.
"As the victim ran to the automobile in an effort to prevent the theft, the perpetrator stuck the victim with the car as he was escaping," police say.
The suspect was wearing a black coat and hat, according to police. The vehicle he stole was a 2000 green Buick with a Kentucky license plate of 322-AGA.
