LOUISIVLLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The state's revocation of 18 daycare licenses leaves Louisville parents wondering where else they can find child care.
Some of them kept the phones busy at Community Coordinated Child Care, better known as 4-C.
It is a local group that helps low-income parents find day care.
On Wednesday, the state announced the revocations, as it investigates alleged fraud at the 18 businesses.
Nervous parents now face potential closings and stricter income requirements for those who may need help to pay for care.
Susan Vessels says some parents paid in advance for April and are having trouble getting their money back.
She urges parents to call for help, because there are lots of options for affordable daycares in town.
