LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – ESPN reported this morning that only 19 of the 8.15 million brackets entered in their NCAA Tournament bracket challenge have correctly placed all eight teams in the Elite Eight.

I have some breaking news: Nobody in the WDRB Sports Department made the List of 19.

It gets worse. Nobody in the WDRB Sports Department has four teams in the Elite Eight.

Too many Michigan States. Not enough Dukes. Too many Indianas. Not enough Syracuse selections. Too many Miamis, New Mexicos and VCUs.

I still need the numbers from the WDRB In the Morning team to determine which group will be working the buckets and soap in the Car Wash Challenge.

Here is where we stand with seven games to play:

Rick Bozich – 36-20 with two Final Four teams alive, Louisville and Ohio State, Louisville as champion.

Eric Crawford – 34-22 with one Final Four team alive, Louisville, his champion pick.

Tom Lane  -- 32-24, with three Final Four teams alive, Louisville, Ohio State and Florida. The Cards are his selection.

Steve Andress – 32-24, with two Final Four teams alive, Louisville and Ohio State. He picked U of L to win.

Pat Doney – 30-26. All of his Final Four picks have been knocked off the bracket.
