LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Hundreds of volunteers line up to make the community a little brighter.

Clean-up supplies, including trash bags and other items were handed out Saturday morning at Slugger Field to more than 200 organizations.

This morning's pickup event was to help volunteers prepare for the city-wide clean up effort on April 13th.

Among those in attendance was 3rd District Congressman John Yarmuth.

On April 13th, more than 12,000 volunteers are expected to clean up parts of Louisville in the annual Brightside community wide clean up.
