Reptiles stolen from California store

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's not your typical burglary, but police say one man nabbed a bag full of snakes and reptiles.

He was caught in the act by the Discovery Center's surveillance cameras.

The crook threw a cinder block into the Fresno, California store.

Then he heads straight for the reptile room, grabbing a boa constrictor and two pythons, tossing the mortal enemies into the same bag.

He yanks out a four foot lizard and stuffs it into a trash can.

Then, he pulls out a computer monitor from a desk and shoves it on top of the lizard.

Workers at the center are concerned saying all the reptiles are rescue animals and now at risk.
