BIRDSEYE, Ind. (AP) -- Indiana Conservation officers are searching a southern Indiana reservoir for two men missing since their boat capsized.
Conservation Officer Joe Haywood says searchers were using sonar Sunday morning looking for the two men. He says authorities searched the banks of Patoka Reservoir in DuBois County, about 75 miles northeast of Evansville, at daybreak.
The search began about 10:15 p.m. Saturday after fishermen at Hoosier Hills Marina heard cries for help and called 911. A boater pulled two people from the water, but two other men remain missing. Authorities say the water temperature was about 45 degrees and the men pulled from the water reported symptoms consistent with hypothermia.
The missing men have been identified as 23-year-old Matt Buroker of Evansville and 22-year-old Ryan Dowdell of Winslow.
