POLICE: Man arrested after reckless driving with passengers on hood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a man was arrested after driving with two passengers on top of his car.

According to an arrest report, 24-year-old Mortez Miles was driving eastbound down Broadway at 22nd Street with four passengers inside a car. Two of the four passengers where riding outside the car, one on the hood, and the other on top of the cab.

As Miles made a southbound turn on 22nd Street, police say they heard two of the female passengers who were on top of the car screaming for Miles to stop and let them down.

Police say Miles was operating the vehicle in a way that, "created a substantial risk of death or serious physical injury to his passengers, which were on top of his moving vehicle."

After being arrested Miles, was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and reckless driving, according to police.
