Louisville man accused of robbing Walgreens twice in one month
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man has been arrested after police say he robbed the same Walgreens store twice in one month.
According to an arrest report, 18-year-old Elten P. Frillman walked into the Walgreens on Dixie Highway, near Valley Station Road, on March 23, shortly after 3 a.m.
Once inside, he allegedly pulled a handgun and demanded cash and cigarettes. When he got the items, he fled the scene.
Police say it wasn't the last time that particular Walgreens saw Frillman. Days later, on March 27, he allegedly appeared at the store again -- this time shortly after 2 a.m. -- and again pulled a handgun. Police say his demands were the same: cash and cigarettes.
He allegedly fled the scene again.
Police arrested him for the crimes on Friday morning. According to an arrest report, officers found the clothing he wore during both robberies, as well as the .22 revolver he used during the crimes. The evidence was allegedly found at his home on Greentree Lane, not far from the Walgreens store.
Police say he admitted to committing the crimes. He's been charged with two counts of first degree robbery.
