LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Hollywood star from Louisville is now one of the city's heroes.

Victor Mature is the 21st hometown hero banner to be put up in the city. Mature's banner is on the Derby Dental Building on South Shelby Street.

Mature was a Shelby Park resident, but left for Hollywood in the late 1930s. He has been in more than 50 movies, including "The Robe" and "My Darling Clementine." Upon his passing Mature was buried at St. Michael Cemetery.

A dedication ceremony is planned for this Saturday.
