Friends and family of Josh Young protest outside Jefferson Co. Judicial Center

LOUISIVLLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Family members and friends of a teenager accused of murder want him out of jail.

The group supporting 17 year old Josh Young held placards and protested outside the Jefferson County Judicial Center this afternoon.

Young and his father Josh Gouker are accused in the beating death of Young's step brother Trey Zwicker.

Young's foster mother, Susan Stoneburne, claims he's innocent.

"We think it is a travesty what happened to their son. But making two children pay for that is not making it better. To make Josh pay in some way is not going to bring Trey back," said Stoneburne

Trey's father tells WDRB News he's upset the trial has been delayed until July.

But he thinks prosecutors have charged the right people and they should remain in jail.
