LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Support for Kevin Ware is growing.
Thousands of signatures cover a banner wishing the University of Louisville's men's basketball sophomore guard a speedy recovery.
Main Line Broadcasting had the banners made and said the response has been incredible. With little space left to sign the banner at 4th Street Live this afternoon, a new banner has been ordered so that even more people in the community have an opportunity to sign it.
"That was a pretty bad injury and he's a pretty strong young man to be up on his feet already, so we just hope he gets better soon and right back on the team," said Abigail Nolasco, a U of L fan.
Right now the banner is at the Neutral Zone on Blankenbaker Parkway until 5 p.m. It then moves to the Walmart on Bashford Manor Lane from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
There will be two more opportunities to sign the banner tomorrow.
