LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- There's a new way to get to the Ali Center from the Belvedere.
The Muhammad Ali Pedestrian Bridge officially opened Friday morning.
City leaders say the bridge will allow guests to easily access the Ali Center and other attractions on Main Street and around downtown Louisville.
The 170-foot walkway is nine feet wide and cost just over $900,000 to build.
In honor of the opening of the bridge, the Muhammad Ali Center offered free admission from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m..
