LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- General Motors in southern Indiana is getting a big boost.

The auto giant announced it will invest nearly $30 million in the Bedford castings plant. The money will be used to make two new engines and other auto parts.

GM says the money is part of a $332 million investment it plans to put into four plants in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.

General Motors says the investment will help keep more than 1,600 jobs at the four plants.
