LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Runners gathered Saturday morning near Papa John's Cardinal Stadium for the third leg of the Triple Crown of Running.
The Papa John's 10 Miler was the last race before KDF half and full marathons.
The race started at Third Street, ran along Southern Parkway into Iroquois Park and ended with a lap around Papa John's Stadium.
It was the final leg of the Louisville Triple Crown of Running, presented by Novo Nordisk, though Papa John's has sponsored the 10 Miler for the past thirteen years.
Each year, officials say the enthusiasm and participation continues to grow to record-breaking numbers.
