LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB)---Jeffersonville police have learned more information about the skeletal remains recently found behind a church.
Police confirm the remains appear to be that of a white man.
A church groundskeeper found them in a wooded area behind the Faith Lutheran Church on March 29th.
Police have been looking into whether this could be 27-year-old Stephen Reedy, who went missing from the area in 2011.
He was last seen walking away from his nearby apartment and into the woods.
Police have been in touch with his family.
They say they have Reedy's dental records and hope to be able to soon make a positive ID on the remains.
The cause of death is not known at this time.
