LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 7-year-old steals the spotlight on the college football field during a spring scrimmage.

Jack Hoffman has won the hearts of fans and everyone in the football program for his courageous bout with brain cancer.

Star running back Rex Burkhead befriended the 7-year-old last year and leads the support network known as "Team Jack."

Jack ran onto the field late in Saturday's scrimmage wearing a miniature uniform with Burkhead's number 22 jersey.

The crowd of just over 60-thousand at Memorial Stadium cheered as Jack celebrated his touchdown run.
