LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Department of Transportation has announced construction along Interstate 264 eastbound (Watterson Expressway) from Taylor Boulevard to Crittenden Drive. Traffic will be reduced to one lane on Saturday, April 13 from 5 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Visitors coming from Indiana will need to choose an alternate route.
The Kentucky Exposition Center is accessible from the north by taking Interstate 64 eastbound, then taking Interstate 65 southbound and entering the facility via gates 1, 3 and 4. Due to the number of patrons attending events at the Kentucky Exposition Center this weekend, heavy congestion is expected at Gate 1. Gates 2, 3, 4 (off Crittenden Dr.) and 6 (off Preston Hwy) are recommended.
The Kentucky Exposition Center is expected to be hosting the JVA World Volleyball Challenge, Leadership Team Development 2013 Spring Impact, and the Kentucky State Rabbit Breeders Mini Convention.
