After two years in northern Minnesota, Courtney Godfrey is delighted to be in a warmer climate! Before joining the WDRB team in April 2013, she worked as a morning news anchor in Duluth, MN. Now that she is out from behind the anchor desk, Courtney can be spotted around Kentuckiana bringing you the latest news.
Born and raised in the San Francisco area, you'll frequently see Courtney running around town sporting the latest 49er or Giants gear. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Communication, and continued on to receive her master's degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. But don't call her a Sundevil, she is a Wildcat for life!
In her free time, she enjoys exploring the parks and restaurants of Louisville. She loves to work out, snowboard, travel, spend time with family and compete in triathlons.
Her favorite part of the job is meeting new people, and hopefully educating and encouraging them to make a difference. So don't be shy! If you see her around town, say hi!
