LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Police say a man held up two convenience stores in south Louisville in less than 10 minutes.

The first happened at a Speedway store on Southside Drive at 2:30 this morning.  Police say the man came into the store armed with a shotgun and demanded cash.  He fired one shot into the ceiling, but no one was hurt.

Nine minutes later, the same suspect robbed a nearby Circle K on S. 3rd Street.

Police are looking for a black male about 5' 3" tall with a slim build.  He was wearing dark clothing and a mask.

Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous police tip line, 574-LMPD.
