Police search for lottery ticket thieves

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Police are searching for at least two people who stole lottery tickets from a Louisville convenience store.

The suspects are in for an unpleasant surprise, too. LMPD says there no winners among the stolen tickets. The tickets were reported to the Kentucky Lottery and canceled.

The robbery happened Tuesday morning when two people entered a store, ran inside and ran off with the tickets.

Anyone with information about the theft may call the anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD.
