Derby Eve Triumph Gala to benefit Clark Memorial Hospital Foundation

Posted: Updated:

Derby Eve galas have a long history of helping local charities. And the new Triumph Gala helps the Clark Memorial Hospital Foundation raise money to fight heart disease. Gala planner Susie Stewart is showing some of the items being auctioned off, and Heaven Hill Distillery's Josh Hafer is preparing a signature drink created for the event.

Heaven Hill is making a signature PAMA Martini for the event.

PAMA Martini

2 oz. PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur

1 oz. Premium Vodka

1/4 oz. Orange Flavored Liqueur

Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lemon zest.

Goal of the Event:

Heart disease is the #1 killer in the nation, effecting 1 out of every 3 people. Clark Memorial Hospital, its team members and physicians are working diligently to educate the community on the risks of heart disease. This event will ensure funding to continue that education in the future, as well as provide screenings on heart disease, including HeartAware - an online risk assessment.

Highlights of the Triumph Gala:

Walk the RED Carpet entrance and receive a keepsake photo - and of all the red carpet photos, one will be selected to appear on the cover of Southern Indiana Living magazine's July/August issue!

In Kye's I the atmosphere will be Piano/Jazz lounge with the sounds of Rhonda Mull, Jamey Aebersold Jazz and the Dave George Folk Duo.

Enter Kye's II where the party will feature The V-Groove band, and again this year we are honored to have Jesse Rasmussen of the Lambert and Lindsey Morning Show on 102.3 The Max as our event emcee.

The VIP Glam Suite will be available to those coming straight from the track or other Oaks Day events. Clinique Greentree will be on hand with products to freshen us up and get ready to party the night away. Of course the Glam Suite is included with the VIP ticket prices.
