POLICE: Pair arrested for selling balloons filled with nitrous oxide

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested two people for selling balloons filled with nitrous oxide, according to arrest reports.

Police say 40-year-old Peter Allen Fisher and 30-year-old Autumn L. Fisher were spotted at the corner of 5th St. and Chestnut St. shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday. According to the arrest reports, the two were seen filling balloons with gas from a tank of nitrous oxide.

Several people were seen purchasing the balloons, according to police.

When police apprehended the suspects, they allegedly found seven additional nitrous oxide tanks in the trunk of the vehicle, along with morphine pills and marijuana in Autumn Fisher's purse.

Both were charged with sale of a volatile substance and volatile substance abuse.
