Second Street Bridge closes for Thunder
LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The Thunder over Louisville bridge closures have already started, and now a free shuttle is being offered.
The Second Street Bridge closed this morning to drivers and pedestrians and will remain closed until 2 p.m. on Sunday.
The Kentucky Derby Festival says pedestrian and bicycle commuters can still cross using a free shuttle that runs through Saturday at 11 a.m.
Because of a concert at the KFC Yum Center and a Louisville Bats game tomorrow night, the Third Street exit ramp from westbound I-64 will close tomorrow at 10 p.m.
The Second Street entrance ramp to eastbound I-64 will close at 8 a.m. Saturday. Both of those ramps will reopen at 6 a.m. on Sunday.
