LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Derby Festival is officially underway.
The "They're Off!" Luncheon was held today at the Grand Ballroom of the Galt House.
NFL great Archie Manning was the keynote speaker. The former quarterback is the father of Eli and Peyton Manning.
Local politicians such as Gov. Steve Beshear and his wife, Jane, as well as Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer.
Dwight Ashley opened the luncheon by singing the national anthem, and Miss Kentucky, Jessica Casebolt, regaled the audience with her rendition of "My Old Kentucky Home."
